At Suhada Beauty Studio, we believe true beauty begins with skin that is healthy, balanced, and naturally radiant.

“Suhada” means “bare skin” in Japanese. It reflects our philosophy of beauty: rather than relying on excessive enhancement, we use professional treatments to help the skin return to its naturally smooth, refined, and balanced state.

The Story Behind Suhada

Suhada Beauty Studio was inspired by our founder’s personal experience in Japan.

After receiving a Japanese kogao facial contouring treatment, she was amazed by the results. Her facial contours appeared more defined and lifted, while her overall appearance felt lighter, refreshed, and more confident. This experience led her to wonder why such a meticulous, natural, and balance-focused approach to beauty was still so difficult to find in the United States.

Having received professional facial treatments regularly since a young age, our founder has always placed great importance on proper skincare. After moving to the Bay Area, however, she struggled to find a beauty studio that truly met her expectations—one that valued skilled techniques and visible results while also prioritizing a thoughtful treatment philosophy and safe, high-quality products.

Motivated by this experience, she traveled to Japan to study Japanese kogao facial contouring techniques and the beauty principles behind them. She then brought this approach—one she genuinely believes in and is deeply passionate about—to the United States and founded Suhada Beauty Studio.

Our Philosophy

At Suhada Beauty Studio, we want every guest to experience more than a relaxing facial. Our treatments reflect the thoughtful and meticulous nature of Japanese beauty philosophy, with a focus on facial contours, skin health, the recovery process, and achieving natural, stable, long-lasting results.

For our professional skincare treatments, we use MT Metatron, a Japanese professional skincare brand known for supporting the skin’s condition following aesthetic procedures. Its products are especially suited for those seeking gentle care, skin-barrier support, and post-treatment recovery. MT Metatron products are also used and featured by leading aesthetic medical institutions in Japan, including the Shonan Beauty Clinic network.

This makes Suhada especially suited for modern women who take a thoughtful approach to skin health—particularly those seeking gentle, reassuring, and professional care during the recovery period following aesthetic treatments.
